Class Teacher: Ricardo Ferreira Bryant-Jorge

Welcome to Kings class.  We are a 6th Form teaching group consisting of semiformal students working towards OCR Life and Living Skills Accreditation.  We are a fun and exciting group of learners that enjoy engaging with our learning and developing our independent skills. We have a strong focus on preparation for adulthood and developing the skills necessary so we can succeed after school. We also focus on developing our communication skills throughout the day with an emphasis on being able to communicate our preferences and choices. We follow a curriculum that is based on a range of subject-based lessons, cross-curricular experiences, interventions, and targeted approaches. Our progress and achievement are tracked and celebrated via Evidence for Learning to use the Castle Assessment Framework (Rainbow and Gemstone).
